Day 1
4 km (bus + walk)+500 m3–4 hrsTateyama Station to Murodo via cable car and bus. Walk through the snow walls (famous 20m walls in June). Acclimatization walk to Mikuriga-ike pond.

10 km+900 m / −600 m7–8 hrsMurodo to Tateyama summit and back via ridge. The most scenic day. Views of Northern Alps range. Rocky ridge with some scrambling.

8 km−800 m4–5 hrsDescent via Kurobe Dam. Walk across the dam wall. Cable car and train to Ogizawa. Bus to Tokyo or Kanazawa.

Physical Prep
The cable car helps but the ridge is real hiking. Day 2 is a proper alpine day. You should handle 900 m gain at altitude (2,450 m).
